Why is it when ever you want to write something you can never think what to write. But when wondering around outdoors or around the house you have all sorts pop into your head. Will from today make a mental note “to write down all that i think about during the day from now on” Ok that’s my little soap box moment over and done with.

Ah yeah starting at the beginning, i am not going to go write back, to the school days etc, will just skim over those years and try to reach the present ASAP lol

About me

Oh boy this is a toughy, i was born in Smethwick Birmingham on the 13th July 1968 (yes that makes me 40 yrs old) at Dudley road hospital now known as The City hospital i believe. I lived with my parents Janet and Bill Hughes in Smethwick until i was 5 yrs old. Then my mom and dad decided to move to Langley which was close to Oldbury in the West Midlands. My parents still live there and i did (even though i moved around oldbury in different houses for a few years) until just over 2 years ago when i moved down South as us northerners say it lol. I moved to Yateley with my partner of 5 yrs Paul, he had been working in reading for 2 yrs previous and so was commuting back and forth every weekend. We decided to buy a property down south so we could be together full time. I had also been offered a job by Pete at K9 planet in yateley so things were looking up.

We moved into our home in Yateley in April of 2007 and we love it here.

Things haven’t been smooth for me over the past few years (well if I’m honest its been more than 6/7 yrs on and off). You see i had been through quite a few rough relationships before meeting up with Paul. I am not going to go into details but i do know about physical and mental abuse from domestic violence. As the saying goes been there done that got the t shirt and video lol I am not trying to make light of the situation i just believe sometimes its better to be positive than negative, you will understand as you read on why i say that. I will admit that in my past i have not been an angel, but i do not regret anything that i have done.

Moving on i have been suffering from Depression for the past 5 ish years. I finally got it diagnosed with the doctor early last year. I say finally because i didn’t believe or should i say didn’t want to believe i was a sufferer. The Doctor diagnosed me and prescribed me with anti depressants (also known as happy pills, not too sure why). I am not a Looney i just feel down more than up. And if you actually look into depression its the strongest of people who end up suffering. Depression is an illness not just a mental state. Anyway i suffer from depression the pills seemed to have an effect after a few days and i did feel a lot better. I started working on myself with help from online support and reading books that gave me exercises to do. I finished my counseling in January of this year and she believed that my depression stemmed from things that happened in my past but also present day. I will tell you more about this as my blog proceeds

Ok, i do have a 15yr old son (16 in 3 months) he isn’t no angel and he is definitely a typical teenager with a Kevin attitude lol (Kevin…if you don’t know was a character of Harry Enfield’s see below always makes me laugh lol)

My son is a more handsome i have to admit but then again i would say that. Ok what else is there.

My Partner and i share our home with 2 German Shepherd dogs. Beau is 6 yrs old and the sable colored dog and Zac is 3 yrs old and the small fluffy Black and Tan dog.

We also have a 16 yr old Chinchilla called Oscar, still trying to get a picture of him lol.

Last but not least hobbies: I enjoy reading, walking, listening to music, cycling, boxing, and probably more but will add those as i go on 

I am currently a Student studying canine psychology its a very interesting subject i am qualified as a Dog training instructor at Silver level and love learning about dogs. There is always something new to learn. I also work as an Independent Distributor for Wikaniko selling eco friendly products to households in my area. I am trying to create a team up and down the country so if anyone is interested please get in touch to find out more.
